Home Improvement

Tomorrow starts our new series "Home Improvement - God's Way".

I'm excited and yet I know that as I talk about what Christian homes should look like it causes me to stop and recognize that my example speaks louder than the words that I might utter from the pulpit.  When I speak tomorrow of "The Original Blueprint" the question is, am I following that blueprint?  Sure its easy for me to talk about how God created marriage to be between a man and a woman, and its even easy to talk about how any sexual relationship outside of the marriage covenant is prohibited by God, but His blueprint for our homes goes so much deeper than that.

Psalm 127:1 utters these profound yet simple words, Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain.  Who is building your house, and who is building my house.  That's what this series is all about - not only building our homes according to God's Blueprint but any additions, corrections, landscaping, or improvements must be done according to His Will.

May God bless you as you consider the difficult yet rewarding task of building and improving your home based on the blueprint from God's Holy Word.
